ABOUT COMPANY: 

The Middle East’s Digital Creative Agency working with an aim of creating connected experiences for businesses.

digital experiences for the web, mobile and smart devices.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE: 

MAINTENANCE OF UPANDRUNNING IT SYSTEMS: Day to day maintenance and support of Servers, Network Infrastructure & Communications, Business Applications and other software, Security and Virus protection of the different branches. Communicate and roll out IT changes to the UPANDRUNNING team. Train necessary staff on new software and upgrades.

NEW IT SOLUTIONS: Develop Small IT solutions on SharePoint/SQL Server technologies. Plan, Design, Deploy and Manage the implementation of new IT systems e.g. Electronic Medical Records, finance, reporting, procurement. Contribute to UPANDRUNNING Cloud strategy including migration of servers/solutions. Consolidate UPANDRUNNING’s existing databases and deploy/develop a data warehouse and reporting environment.

SECURITY: Ensure proper Internal (for company users) and external (Outside the company network) security on the company’s network systems.

DISASTER RECOVERY: Ensure all systems are backed-up on a regular base, in line with the company backup and recovery strategy. Ensure proper disaster recovery plans for all critical systems are in place and can be easily recovered with the minimum downtime possible in case of disaster.

BUDGETING/PURCHASE: Prepare IT Budgets in line with company’s requirements and future growth. Ensure actual spending is within targets

Skills

PERSONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT field;
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with attention to detail;
• Ability to resolve issues and handle pressure with a positive outlook;
• Shows great initiative and exceptional organizational skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;
• Should be dynamic and a team player;
• Ability to work flexible hours in line with the organization’s needs;
• Fluency in written and verbal English language
• Possessing a keen interest in new IT systems and technologies;
• An interest in sports would be preferred but is not essential

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Windows Server/Active Directory/Network Infrastructure
• Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Skype for Business, OneDrive)
• SharePoint/SQL Server/Web Development
